تقيم ولاية فيكتوريا للجامعة اللبنانية الثقافية في العالم إحتفال رسمي لإزاحة الستار عن النصب التذكاري للمغترب اللبناني بمناسبة مرور مئة وخمسين سنة على وجوده على الأراضي الأوسترالية وذلك نهار السبت الواقع في ۱٩ تشرين الثاني ٢٠۱۱ في حديقة “Ray Bramham Gardens – Preston”، في ملبورن – أوستراليا في حضور رئيسة بلدية داربين دايانا أسمر وزير الإعلام اللبناني الدكتور وليد الداعوق، الرئيس العالمي للجامعة اللبناني الثقافية في العالم عيد شدراوي، مسؤولي وأعضاء الجامعة، عدة شخصيات رسمية لبنانية وأوسترالية وعدد كبير من أبناء الجالية اللبنانية.
The State Council of Victoria in the World Lebanese Cultural Union is organizing the unveiling ceremony of The Lebanese Migrant Statue which will be held in Melbourne, Australia on Saturday 19 November 2011, at 4.00pm At Ray Bramham Gardens, in the presence of The Mayor of Darebin City Council Councilor Diana Asmar, H.E Dr. Walid Daouk Lebanese Minister for information, the WLCU World President Eid Chedrawi, officers and members of the WLCU, Australian and Lebanese dignitaries sharing a massive number of the Lebanese community from Melbourne and other states.
