It&#8217;s mission is to manage and advance the STEM topics within the WLCU. The current president of the STEM commission is&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/wlcu.world\/ng\/the-world-body-of-the-wlcu-2023-2025\/bio-bassem-medawar\/\">Bassem Medawar.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The STEM commission is managing all the WLCU technical assets such as website, social media, internet domain, WLCU Email, it also endeavors to train WLCU members in technical management of WLCU website content.<\/p>\n<p>Some of STEM accomplishments in the past includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contributions to the membership app<\/li>\n<li>Website administration since commission inception in 2016<\/li>\n<li>Electronic voting system created by the STEM commission was used during COVID to elect the president of the WLCU and other officers.<\/li>\n<li>Created an electronic documents management system modeled after the United Nations document management system.<\/li>\n<li>Defended violations committed against the WLCU trademark.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p
