Miss Lebanon Emigrant of Canada and in collaboration with the World Lebanese Cultural Union Toronto Chapter organized Miss Lebanon Emigrant of Ontario 2011. The event was attended by Federal, Provincial and local Canadian Government representatives as well as the North American Regional President of the WLCU Mr. Elias Kassab.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Mr. Ted Opitz who represented the Minister of Immigration and Citizenship the Honorable Jason Kenny presented the organizer Mr. Ibrahim Elias and Mr. Bassam Dagher with a letter of appreciation for their continuous work in the community. A letter was also received from the Lebanese Embassy to the same effect.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The event was held at the Marriott Toronto Airport Grand Ball room and attracted around 250 people in an atmosphere never seen before in Ontario. Ms. Miryam Kassab was the host of the event.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Our contestants did an amazing job and they were all so beautiful it was hard to decide which one will be the queen.<\/p>\n
The Judging panel consisted of four judges:<\/p>\n
1- Mrs. Fooula Weidmark from Givenchy Canada<\/p>\n
2- Mrs. Mimi Lepri Berluti from the Bay Markville Mall<\/p>\n
3- Mr. Badih Abou Chakra, our famous Lebanese and international actor<\/p>\n
4- Mrs. Diana Freiman from Belladonna Jewellery<\/p>\n
