The International Festival of the Lebanese Emigrants\u2019 Committee concluded its activities \u200efor the year 2010 with the election of Miss Lebanon Overseas which was done under the \u200epatronage and the licensing of the Lebanese Tourism Ministry and the participation of the \u200eWorld Lebanese Cultural Union on the 13th of July 2010 in Hotel “Le Royal” Dbayeh \u200eLebanon.\u200e<\/p>\n

Several Lebanese Emigrant\u2019s delegations from all over the world attended this ceremony \u200ein addition and was attended by the director of military intelligence Brigadier General \u200eEdmond Fadel, Mr. Youssef Chahine representing the Minister of Youth and Sports Ali \u200eHussein Abdallah, Mr. Youssef Howayek representing the Minister of Labor Boutors \u200eHarb, Colonel Nabil Kiwan representing the General Director of the Internal Security \u200eForces General Ashraf Rifi, the World President of the World Lebanese Cultural Union \u200eEid Chedrawi, the director of the National News Agency Laure Sleiman Saab, Roula \u200eZeidan the media director of the Minister of Economy and Trade, Bishop of the Maronite \u200ein Mexico George Abi Younes, Paul Fayyad representing the President Amine Gemayel, \u200ethe Ambassador of Spain in Lebanon Juan Carlos Gaffo, Ambassador of Uruguay in \u200eLebanon Jorge Luis Khoury, Ambassador of Argentina in Lebanon Jose Maxwell, \u200eAdvisor to the Brazilian Embassy in Lebanon Roberto Gabriel Medeiros, Ambassador of \u200eChile in Lebanon Pedro Barzo Urzua, Ambassador of Belgium in Lebanon Johan \u200eVerkammen, Nathalie Raad representative of the Ambassador of Paraguay in Lebanon \u200eFernando Parisi, Jorge Baker representing the Mexican ambassador in Lebanon Jorge \u200eAlvarez Fuentes, James Batley representing Australian Ambassador in Lebanon Dean \u200eDunn, Consul of Costa Rica in Lebanon Riad Abdel Baki, the owner of Hotel Chain “Le \u200eRoyal” Nazme Auchi, the jury, judicial, security and social personalities.\u200e<\/p>\n

\u200e21 girls from Lebanese origin participated in the election of Miss Lebanon Overseas. \u200eThey came to Lebanon from different Diaspora countries especially to participate in this \u200eelection. Miss Lebanon Brazil Tauany Abou Rejaili from Kafarzabad – Bekaa won the \u200etitle of MLO 2010. Miss Abou Rejaili was elected among several contestants as Miss \u200eLebanon in Brazil 2010 during a ceremony organized by the \u201cWorld Committee for \u200eLadies of Lebanese descent” in the World Lebanese Cultural Union, under the \u200echairmanship of Mrs. Marie-Jeanne Samaha Khattar.\u200e<\/p>\n

Miss Lebanon Mexico Grace Bejjani was elected as the first runner-up, and Miss \u200eLebanon Belgium Sarah Lama Karim as the second runner-up.\u200e
\nAlso, Miss Lebanon France Hiba Nassif Hitti won the title of “Miss Costume”, and \u200eRayane Rizk from Hauts-de-Seine \u2013 Paris won the title of “Miss Photogenic”\u200e<\/p>\n

The jury was formed by: the representative of the Lebanese Tourism Ministry Jean-\u200eClaude Nassar, the Director of Exhibition in the Ministry of Culture Dima Raad, Dr. Ziad \u200eNjeim Lecturer in surgery and diseases of the mouth and head of research at the Faculty \u200eof Dentist at the Lebanese University and licensed in medicine to fight aging from the \u200eFaculty of Medicine at the University of Paris, Dr. Karim Korbani (plastic surgeon \u200edentist), Dr. Ashraf Hamdan (plastic surgeon), The representative of International \u200eFestival of the Lebanese Emigrants Marina Hajj, the Lebanese hairdresser Dani Azzam, \u200eGeneral Manager of “Plus Que Parfait” Cosette Amar, the Editor of “Sign\u00e9”  magazine \u200ejournalist Matilda Farjallah.\u200e<\/p>\n

During the ceremony, the contestants presented a show wearing the Lebanese Army suit \u200ewhich was very successful and enthusiastic to the audience.\u200e<\/p>\n

The Lebanese Singer Nicolas El Osta was present in this ceremony and performed his \u200esongs.

\nThe International Festival of the Lebanese Emigrants\u2019 Committee Fadi Bou Dagher \u200ethanked everyone for attending this ceremony and also thanked the World Lebanese \u200eCultural Union, headed by Mr. Chedrawi for the participation and contribution in the \u200esuccess of this event.\u200e<\/p>\n
