Chile – JOL<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, July 4th, the Lebanese Youth of Santiago de Chile held a conference on the political situation in Lebanon, within the framework of a series of talks that JOL Chile will carry out during this year 2018. The objective of this cycle is self-training , through the discussion among all the members of the Youth on topics of common interest. It will seek to address complex or little-known issues in a participatory manner, with a presenter as a facilitator, but based on the dialogue and link with the interests of each attendee.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On this first day, Denys Souccar, Lebanese living in Chile, and Tom\u00e1s Laibe, Head of Training and Culture of JOL, presented data on the history of Lebanon, its system of government, civil war and the most current conflicts. In this way, participants discussed the main parties in Lebanon, the relationship between religious creeds, acts of violence in Lebanese history, the influence of foreign powers and more.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is expected that in the next day it will be deepened in the main problems and challenges of the present (economic situation, refugees due to the war in Syria, the garbage crisis and the challenges for the incorporation of women, among others).<\/p>\n

JOL Chile thus promotes interest in politics and news, but with an analysis that is as objective as possible and devoid of partisan or sectarian biases. This, in the framework of a training plan that permanently links us to Lebanon, through art, history, culture and politics.<\/p>\n

El mi\u00e9rcoles 4 de julio, la Juventud de Origen Liban\u00e9s de Santiago de Chile realiz\u00f3 un Conversatorio sobre la situaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica del L\u00edbano, en el marco de un ciclo de conversatorios que realizar\u00e1 JOL Chile durante este a\u00f1o 2018. El objetivo de este ciclo es la autoformaci\u00f3n, a trav\u00e9s de la discusi\u00f3n entre todos los miembros de la Juventud sobre tem\u00e1ticas de \u00a0que sean de inter\u00e9s com\u00fan. <\/strong>Se buscar\u00e1 abordar temas complejos o poco conocidos de forma participativa, con un presentador como facilitador, pero basado en el di\u00e1logo y v\u00ednculo con intereses de cada asistente.<\/p>\n

En esta primera jornada, Denys Souccar, liban\u00e9s viviendo en Chile, y Tom\u00e1s Laibe, Encargado de Formaci\u00f3n y Cultura de JOL, expusieron datos sobre la historia del L\u00edbano, su sistema de gobierno, la guerra civil y los conflictos m\u00e1s actuales. De este modo, los participantes discutieron sobre los principales partidos del L\u00edbano, la relaci\u00f3n entre los credos religiosos, los hechos de violencia en la historia libanesa, la influencia de las potencias extranjeras y m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Se espera que en la pr\u00f3xima jornada se profundice en las principales problem\u00e1ticas y desaf\u00edos de la actualidad (situaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica, refugiados por la guerra en Siria, la crisis de la basura y los desaf\u00edos para incorporaci\u00f3n de la mujer, entre otros).<\/p>\n

JOL Chile promueve as\u00ed el inter\u00e9s por la pol\u00edtica y la actualidad, pero con un an\u00e1lisis lo m\u00e1s objetivo posible y desprovisto de sesgos partidarios o sectarios.
