Organized by WLCU France and a collective of partner associations, this major French Lebanese event attracted not less than 10,000 visitors during these 3 days, visitors coming from everywhere in France to enjoy these French-Lebanese festivities in the middle of Paris. This year, the French Lebanese youth had its own responsibility in the organization of such major event.

Under the high patronage of the ambassador Ramy Adwan, the goal of this event was to celebrate the strong link between France and Lebanon and put Lebanon in the spotlight through its multiple aspects (touristic, cultural, festive, gastronomic etc…). In all this, the WLCUY France Chapter as well as Club Culturel de la Jeunesse Franco Libanaise’s (Cultural Club of the French Lebanese Youth, CCJFL) founders Antoine Saroufime and Philippe Bou Hanna were committed to putting the French Lebanese youth forward, its achievements and its commitments, through a message of the youth of the united Diaspora, in hope of spreading a more human image for Lebanon. Nowadays, our youth is not only considered as a simple spectator of the Diaspora, but it plays a major part in the Lebanese expansion in the world.

In consequence, the opening ceremony on May 18 had its youth moments such as singing, dancing and conferences which ended with a night party. Indeed, during this wonderful ceremony, people could discover the French Lebanese youth through many aspects and at many levels: kids singing the French and Lebanese national anthem, Yara Nouna performing oriental dance on stage and Dr Adnan El Bakri presenting his PassCare, the international health passport that connects everyone with their health datas, using the secured Blockchain technology. Of course, in order to close such a day, our young team brought its best DJ and young singers to put the dancefloor on fire!

After this day, the tone was launched: the French Lebanese youth was still in the spotlight as many events took place in order to keep putting its talents and achievements forward. During the 2nd day, rich in cultural, gastronomic and heritage expositions, the CCJFL team organized a coaching & networking workshop in order to advise and help people in their career or personal projects, but also a workshop about startups and young French Lebanese entrepreneurs that allowed young French Lebanese CEOs to present their companies and their personal courses. The less we can say is that those events were very successful, and yet to end this day, a closing party was on schedule.

The last day of the event was dedicated to electing Miss and Mister Lebanon France.

Keeping gathering and working together, is the key of our Diaspora’s success. Already wel3ane for 2019’s edition.

ESPAÑOL:

La cuarta edición de Journées du Liban à Paris se llevó a cabo el 18, 19 y 20 de mayo de 2018 en La Halle des Blancs Manteaux en el Distrito 4º de París.
