Uruguay – AJUL<\/p>\n

In the following weeks we will be starting the last stage of the most recent part of our project “Leaving a Mark”, which consists of leaving the Lebanese mark in our country. This project began in 2016 in one of the CAIF centers (Child and Family Care Centers) of our country with different young people from Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Chile when the International WLCUY Congress took place in Montevideo, Uruguay.<\/p>\n

We are currently finishing painting a wall of the “Lebanese Republic” and “Gibran Khalil Gibran” schools in Montevideo, Uruguay. Our purpose is to represent Lebanon in the wall, leaving the mark of our culture in these schools that have such a close relationship with our community.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Last but not\u00a0least, in our mission to share the Lebanese culture in our country, since March we have taken the initiative to promote the gastronomy and tourism of Lebanon in what we have called “Tourist Mondays” and “Flavour Fridays”, sharing a destination and a typical dish of our country of cedars in our social media.<\/p>\n

En las pr\u00f3ximas semanas estaremos comenzando la \u00faltima etapa de la m\u00e1s reciente obra de nuestro proyecto \u201cDejando Huella\u201d, el cual consiste en dejar la huella libanesa en nuestro pa\u00eds. Este proyecto comenz\u00f3 en el a\u00f1o 2016 en uno de los centros CAIF (Centros de Atenci\u00f3n a la Infancia y la Familia) de nuestro pa\u00eds, junto a diferentes j\u00f3venes de M\u00e9xico, Argentina, Colombia y Chile al celebrarse el Encuentro Mundial de J\u00f3venes de la ULCM en Montevideo, Uruguay.<\/p>\n

En esta oportunidad nos encontramos terminando de pintar un muro de las escuelas \u201cRep\u00fablica Libanesa\u201d y \u201cGibran Khalil Gibran\u201d de la ciudad de Montevideo, Uruguay. Nuestro prop\u00f3sito es representar L\u00edbano en el muro, dejando la huella de nuestra cultura en estas escuelas que tan estrecha relaci\u00f3n tienen con nuestra colectividad.<\/p>\n

Por\u00a0\"\"otro lado, en nuestra misi\u00f3n de compartir la cultura libanesa en nuestro pa\u00eds, desde marzo surge la iniciativa de promocionar la gastronom\u00eda y el turismo del L\u00edbano a partir de los denominados \u201cLunes Turista\u201d y \u201cViernes de Sabores\u201d, compartiendo un destino y un plato t\u00edpico de nuestro pa\u00eds de los cedros en nuestras redes sociales.<\/p>\n
