Canada<\/p>\n

On July 6th, 2018 the WLCU Ottawa Chapter was pleased to host the Miss Emigrant Canada 2018 pageant at the St. Elias Banquet hall in Canada\u2019s Capital Ottawa. With the presence of the WLCU North America President Mr. Khalil Curi as well as the WLCU North America Secretary General Mr. Fadi Farhat, 12 young ladies of Lebanese descent graced the stage. The night was separated into 3 categories (casual wear, swimsuit, and evening gowns) plus the two question periods.<\/p>\n

Between these categories, the talented singer Roger Helou filled the room with a couple of performances, adding to an evening of elegance, beauty and grace. At the end of the night, Miss Maicy Yaacoub was crowned as the 2018-2019 Miss Emigrant Canada; Miss Mireille Fazaa won the title of First Runner Up and Miss Eug\u00e8ne Choufani that of the Second Runner Up. We wish these beautiful 12 young ladies a bright future and we look forward to see how they will continue to contribute to shape their community.<\/p>\n

El 6 de julio de 2018, el Cap\u00edtulo de Ottawa de la WLCU se complaci\u00f3 en organizar el concurso Miss Emigrant Canada 2018 en el sal\u00f3n de banquetes de St. Elias en la capital de Canad\u00e1, Ottawa. Con la presencia del Presidente de la WLCU Am\u00e9rica del Norte, el Sr. Khalil Curi, as\u00ed como del Secretario General de la WLCU Am\u00e9rica del Norte, el Sr. Fadi Farhat, 12 j\u00f3venes de ascendencia libanesa llenaron el escenario. La noche se dividi\u00f3 en 3 categor\u00edas (ropa casual, traje de ba\u00f1o y vestidos de noche) m\u00e1s los dos per\u00edodos de preguntas.<\/p>\n

Entre estas categor\u00edas, el talentoso cantante Roger Helou llen\u00f3 la sala con un par de actuaciones, sum\u00e1ndose a una noche de elegancia, belleza y gracia. Al final de la noche, Miss Maicy Yaacoub fue coronada como Miss Emigrant Canad\u00e1 2018-2019; La se\u00f1orita Mireille Fazaa gan\u00f3 el t\u00edtulo de Primera finalista y la Se\u00f1orita Eug\u00e8ne Choufani la del Segundo finalista. Les deseamos a estas hermosas 12 se\u00f1oritas un futuro brillante y esperamos ver c\u00f3mo continuar\u00e1n contribuyendo a dar forma a su comunidad.<\/p>\n
