{"id":23195,"date":"2019-04-15T00:09:36","date_gmt":"2019-04-14T21:09:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wlcu.world\/ng\/?p=23195"},"modified":"2019-04-15T00:22:57","modified_gmt":"2019-04-14T21:22:57","slug":"sheis-campaign-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wlcu.world\/ng\/23195\/","title":{"rendered":"#SHEis Campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WLCU YOUTH Campaign<\/p>\n<p>In honor and commemoration of International Women\u2019s Day on March 8th, 2019 and Lebanese Mother\u2019s Day on March 21st, 2019, a group of 6 active WLCUY <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">women<\/span> representing different chapters from around the world came together to construct and launch the #SHEis campaign. Over the month of March, this campaign acknowledged strong and accomplished Lebanese women from across the globe with an aim to raise awareness on gender <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">equality<\/span> in Lebanon and throughout its diaspora by sharing facts and statistics and posts promoting women empowerment within our communities and throughout the WLCU.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Along with the <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">intellectual<\/span> and informative posts was a compilation video put together showcasing the young diaspora\u2019s wish for Lebanese women regarding their nationality rights. Different languages, different genders, and different countries of residence from around the world, a hopeful message, so powerful, an explanation was not required. Throughout this <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">campaign<\/span>, the WLCUY was once again was recognized on a global scale, by notable figures around the world such as Ambassador of Lebanon to Italy H.E. Mira Daher and Author and Public Speaker Ms. Joumana Haddad. Waves were made and voices were heard.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">thank<\/span> everyone who participated, to those who expressed support as well as to the leading ladies behind the scenes, Ms. Guadalupe Bola\u00f1os (Argentina), Ms. Tatiana Azzi (Brazil), Ms. Christina Salamy (Canada), Ms. Yanin Kalil Lahud (Colombia), Ms. Natalie Nehme, and Ms. Mary Saliba (Denmark).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ESPA\u00d1OL:<\/p>\n<p>En honor y conmemoraci\u00f3n del D\u00eda Internacional de la Mujer el 8 de marzo de 2019 y el D\u00eda de la Madre del L\u00edbano el 21 de marzo de 2019, un grupo de 6 <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">mujeres<\/span> WLCUY activas que representan a diferentes cap\u00edtulos de todo el mundo se reunieron para construir y lanzar la campa\u00f1a #SHEis. A lo largo del mes de marzo, esta campa\u00f1a reconoci\u00f3 a las mujeres libanesas fuertes y exitosas de todo el mundo con el objetivo de crear conciencia sobre la <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">igualdad<\/span> de g\u00e9nero en el L\u00edbano y en toda su di\u00e1spora al compartir datos, estad\u00edsticas y publicaciones que promueven el empoderamiento de las mujeres en nuestras comunidades y en todo el WLCU .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Junto con las publicaciones <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">intelectuales<\/span> e informativas, se compil\u00f3 un video en el que se mostraba el deseo de las j\u00f3venes di\u00e1sporas de que las mujeres libanesas tuvieran derechos sobre su nacionalidad. Diferentes idiomas, diferentes g\u00e9neros y diferentes pa\u00edses de residencia de todo el mundo, un mensaje esperanzador, tan poderoso, que no se requer\u00eda una explicaci\u00f3n. A lo largo de esta campa\u00f1a, WLCUY fue nuevamente reconocida a escala mundial por <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">figuras<\/span> notables de todo el mundo, como el Embajador del L\u00edbano en Italia. Mira Daher, autora y oradora p\u00fablica, Sra. Joumana Haddad. Se hicieron olas y se oyeron voces.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">Agradecemos<\/span> a todos los que participaron, a quienes expresaron su apoyo, as\u00ed como a las principales damas detr\u00e1s de escena, a la Sra.
