During World Lebanese Cultural Union Congress Day we were welcomed by Lebanese American University (LAU) Byblos campus and started the day with the Contemporary Lebanon: Challenges and Opportunities panel organized by CELIBAL (Latin American Centre for Lebanese Studies) with the participation of various Lebanese thought leaders. After a Q&A session, LAU explained all the opportunities they offer for international students including arabic language and cultural immersion programs.<\/p>\n

Lunch was hosted by the university and was followed by our WLCU Youth Congress where we talked about the future of Lebanon and what we, as the international Lebanese community can do to help! We later departed to Byblos Old Town and had dinner in the souks! Stay tuned\u00a0<\/strong>for more info about the programs and possibilities to study at LAU<\/p>\n

Durante el D\u00eda Mundial del Congreso de la Uni\u00f3n Cultural Libanesa, fuimos recibidos por el campus de Byblos de la Universidad Americana Libanesa (LAU) y comenzamos el d\u00eda con el panel L\u00edbano contempor\u00e1neo: desaf\u00edos y oportunidades organizado por CELIBAL (Centro Latinoamericano de Estudios Libaneses) con la participaci\u00f3n de varios pensadores libaneses. l\u00edderes Despu\u00e9s de una sesi\u00f3n de preguntas y respuestas, LAU explic\u00f3 todas las oportunidades que ofrecen a los estudiantes internacionales, incluidos el idioma \u00e1rabe y los programas de inmersi\u00f3n cultural.<\/p>\n

El almuerzo fue organizado por la universidad y fue seguido por nuestro Congreso Juvenil de la WLCU, donde hablamos sobre el futuro del L\u00edbano y lo que nosotros, como la comunidad libanesa internacional, podemos hacer para ayudar. \u00a1M\u00e1s tarde partimos al casco antiguo de Byblos y cenamos en los souks!\u00a0Est\u00e9n atentos<\/strong> para obtener m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n sobre los programas y las posibilidades de estudiar en LAU<\/p>\n
