El pasado s\u00e1bado 14 de marzo del presente se llev\u00f3 a cabo en el C\u00edrculo Liban\u00e9s de Santiago un exquisito Brunch organizado por JOL Santiago, contando adem\u00e1s con la asistencia de JOL Atacama, JOL Valpara\u00edso y la Directiva del Consejo Nacional JOL Chile y ULCM Chile, conmemorando junto a ellos, miembros de la colectividad y dem\u00e1s asistentes de distintas partes del pa\u00eds, el D\u00eda del Inmigrante Liban\u00e9s<\/strong>, celebraci\u00f3n que fue creada por la Uni\u00f3n Libanesa Cultural Mundial para conmemorar a nuestras familias que emigraron del L\u00edbano hacia Sudam\u00e9rica y el Mundo buscando un mejor futuro para su descendencia.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, se conmemoro a la Mujer, adhiri\u00e9ndose JOL a la campa\u00f1a mundial #SHEis<\/strong><\/span> organizada por El Consejo de J\u00f3venes de la ULCM, en donde, adem\u00e1s del intercambio cultural y gastron\u00f3mico, tanto mujeres como hombres tomaron el protagonismo dejando plasmados y colgados en las dependencias de la casa libanesa corazones con mensajes de apoyo y reflexi\u00f3n en la lucha continua por la igualdad de g\u00e9nero, as\u00ed como el rol fundamental que cumple la mujer en nuestra sociedad, d\u00e1ndole \u00e9nfasis a la mujer libanesa.<\/p>\n

Fue un d\u00eda de uni\u00f3n<\/strong> y reflexi\u00f3n, compartiendo a trav\u00e9s del dabke y disfrutando de la gastronom\u00eda libanesa con preparaciones realizadas por los mismos j\u00f3venes, entre ellas falafel, kebbeh, malfuf, tabboule, labne, sfiha, manoushe, namoura y muchas otras m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

ENGLISH VERSION<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Saturday, March 14th, an exquisite Brunch was held at C\u00edrculo Liban\u00e9s in Santiago, organized by JOL Santiago, and with the assistance of members from JOL Atacama, JOL Valpara\u00edso and the Board of Directors of the National Council JOL Chile and ULCM Chile, members of the community and other attendees from different parts of the country. The event was in celebration of the Day of the Lebanese Immigrant<\/strong> , a celebration that was created by the World Lebanese Cultural Union to commemorate our families who migrated from Lebanon to South America and the World looking for a better future for their offspring.<\/p>\n

Likewise, Women were commemorated at the event, with JOL adhering to the global campaign #SHEis<\/strong><\/span> organized by WLCU World Council for Youth, where, in addition to cultural and gastronomic exchange, both women and men took the leading role, writing and capturing\u00a0messages of support and reflection that were hung in hearts from the dependencies from the Lebanese house, related to\u00a0the ongoing matter of gender equality, as well as the fundamental role that women play in our society, emphasizing Lebanese women.<\/p>\n

It was a day of union<\/strong> and reflection, sharing through dabke and enjoying Lebanese gastronomy with dishes prepared by the youth, including falafel, kebbeh, malfuf, tabboule, labne, sfiha, manoushe, namoura and many others.<\/p>\n
