\nTo further strengthen the ties that allow for the continuous progress of our organization and its positive impact on Lebanon, and to encourage the active involvement of the WLCU Youth through the UN, the WLCUY has formed a commission to actively take part in youth-led UN initiatives, working in full coordination with the WLCU NGO Committee<\/a> and the WLCUY Board. Throught active involvement in initiatives aligned with UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/a>, the commission’s drive to generate a positive impact on Lebanon from abroad.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Para seguir fotaleciendo los lazos que permiten el progreso continuo de nuestra organizaci\u00f3n y el impacto positivo sobre el L\u00edbano, y para alentar la participaci\u00f3n activa de los j\u00f3venes de la Uni\u00f3n Libanesa Cultural Mundial en a trav\u00e9s de las Naciones Unidas, la WLCUY ha formado una comisi\u00f3n para participar activamente en iniciativas de la ONU dirigidas por j\u00f3venes, trabajando en coordinaci\u00f3n con el Comit\u00e9 ONG de la ULCM<\/a> y la directiva de WLCUY. \"\"\u00a0I’ve\u00a0been an active member of the WLCU since 2015 serving as a youth representative at the United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI) and later moving on to represent the WLCU at the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) for three years. I was also a member of the WLCU World Council for Youth, serving as Treasurer,\u00a0former president for the WLCUY New Jersey Council and I’m currently serving as WLCU New Jersey Secretary.<\/p>\n

Passionate for international relations, I dedicate part of my time to the Academic Research on International Law as well as being the Regional Coordinator for South America in an International Security NGO. Fluent in English, Spanish and French (Arabic is next!), I look forward to continue contributing and honouring my Lebanese grandparents through the amazing youth organization that has received me all these years.<\/p>\n

We, the young diaspora, have an important role in the development and growth of Lebanon in the next few years.<\/p>\n

I have experience in UN Models as a participant and organizer. I am part of national (Diplolab) and international initiatives (World Commission of the Maronite Foundation) to preserve, publish and disseminate knowledge of diplomacy in general and the current context of our land.<\/p>\n

\nI study Business Administration and Corporate Law and want to shed light on the economical issues in Lebanon and create possible ideas to how they can be tackled. Furthermore I want to use my experience as President for the WLCU Youth chapter in Denmark<\/a> to represent Lebanon and its core values outside of its own borders.<\/p>\n
