Bread, Shelter and Medical Supplies<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dear Stephen,<\/p>\n

On behalf of the entire WLCU Sydney Committee, I would like to thank all of you for your unwavering support, especially over the last three months. Your kind donations have allowed the WLCU Sydney to supply free bread to the poor of Beirut.<\/p>\n

We have also been able to rebuild 10 homes for those affected by the blast and have purchased $14,000 of medical supplies, and hand-delivered them to the St. George Hospital medical superintendent, so as to assist those still unable to access medicine in the Lebanese Capital.<\/p>\n

And now to finish 2020 in style, we will be hosting a very special fundraising dinner, celebrating the Lebanese culture, with a five-course degustation menu, together with the finest Lebanese wine, at Doltone House Hyde Park. We will be taking each of you on a journey around Lebanon sampling the local cuisines of each of its regions.<\/p>\n

All proceeds collected on the night will go to assist with the Lebanese disaster effort and with education in Lebanon. Our event partner will be the Lebanese In Finance Executives (LIFE) Generation. They are an international body with DGR status in Australia, who have pledged international support for the victims of Beirut and the education of the next generation.<\/p>\n
