\u201c A great knight has fallen while still bearing a huge love for Lebanon, zealously fighting on behalf of the WLCU in Brazil and the rest of the world, ever the defender of the diaspora\u2019s rights.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c I offer in my name as President of the World Lebanese Cultural Union, in the name of the World Secretary General, former World Presidents, World Executive Board, World and Regional Councils, committee chairpersons and all members of the WLCU my heartfelt condolences to George\u2019s family, former World President Elie Hakmeh, all the WLCU Brazilian team, the Union of Brazilian Clubs, the Lebanese communities around the world and to all his friends, comrades and loved ones. \u201c<\/p>\n
