A delegation from the World Lebanese Cultural Union headed by the World Secretary General George Abi Raad and officials from the WLCU visited the public school in Haret Sakher where about 100 people from the South who were displaced by the war are located. The delegation provided basic necessities and milk for children to each family. The delegation included Christian Nasr, Deputy Secretary General, Dr. Manal Zebian, Head of the Humanitarian Aid Program, and Paul Mubarak from Mexico.<\/p>\n

 The Secretary General expressed the WLCU and the Diaspora sadness for what the people of the South are suffering and expressed solidarity with them through this step, which will be followed by visits to other gatherings in the rest of the Lebanese regions.<\/p>\n

This step was carried out in cooperation with the \u201cLoubnanyoun\u201d Association, which previously conducted a survey of the situation of the displaced and their urgent needs.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Deputy Secretary General of the World, as well as Dr. Elie Akouri, held a meeting with the President of the Union of Jezzine Municipalities, Mr. Khalil Harfoush, and Monsignor Elias Helou at the Jezzine Seraya headquarters to learn about the needs of the displaced to the district and the conditions of those who are still steadfast in their villages in the south, in order to secure them through the donation campaign launched by the WLCU.<\/p>\n

La ULCM se une con la gente en el Sur de Libno y visita a algunos de ellos en su escuela p\u00fablica para brindarles apoyo basico y leche para los ni\u00f1os.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Una de las delegaciones de la Union Libanesa Cultural Mundial guiados por el Secretario General George Abi Raad y otros oficiales de la ULCM visitaron la escuela p\u00fablica Haret Sakher donde alrededor de 100 personas del sur de Libano fueron desplazadas se reunieron en refugio. Los delegados brindaron ayuda para las familias. Entre ellos Christian Nasr, secretario general, Dr. Manal Zebian, Lider del programa de ayuda humanitaria y Paul Mubarak de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n

El secretario general expres\u00f3 con tristeza a la ULCM y a la Diaspora lo que el pueblo del sur de Libano est\u00e1 sufriendo y expres\u00f3 solidaridad con ellos a traves de visitas que seguir\u00e1n alrededor de las otras regiones afectadas.<\/p>\n

Este acto se llevo a cabo en cooperaci\u00f3n con la asociaci\u00f3n “Loubnanyoun”, la cual anteriormente condujo una encuesta de la situaci\u00f3n con los desplazados y sus urgencias.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, el subsecretario general, asi c\u00f3mo el Dr Elie Akouri, tuvieron una reuni\u00f3n con el presidente de la uni\u00f3n de Jezzine, Mr Khalik Harfoush y Monse\u00f1or Elias Helou con sede en Jezzine Seraya para conocer las necesidades del distrito y las condiciones en las que se encuentran los pueblos del sur, para poder protegerlos a trav\u00e9s de la campa\u00f1a de donaci\u00f3n lanzada por la ULCM.<\/p>\n

La d\u00e9l\u00e9gation a fourni des produits de premi\u00e8re n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 et du lait pour les enfants \u00e0 chaque famille. La d\u00e9l\u00e9gation comprenait Christian Nasr, secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral adjoint, Dr Manal Zebian, responsable du programme d\u2019aide humanitaire, et Paul Moubarak du Mexique.<\/p>\n

Le secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral a exprim\u00e9 la tristesse de l\u2019ULCM et de la diaspora pour ce que souffrent les populations du Sud et a exprim\u00e9 leur solidarit\u00e9 avec elles \u00e0 travers cette d\u00e9marche, qui sera suivie de visites \u00e0 d\u2019autres rassemblements dans le reste des r\u00e9gions libanaises.<\/p>\n

Cette d\u00e9marche a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en coop\u00e9ration avec l\u2019association \u00ab Loubnanyoun \u00bb, qui a pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment men\u00e9 une enqu\u00eate sur la situation des d\u00e9plac\u00e9s et leurs besoins urgents.<\/p>\n

Par ailleurs, le Secr\u00e9taire G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Adjoint du Monde, ainsi que le Dr Elie Akouri, ont tenu une r\u00e9union avec le Pr\u00e9sident de l’Union des Municipalit\u00e9s de Jezzine, M. Khalil Harfoush, et Monseigneur Elias Helou au si\u00e8ge du S\u00e9rail de Jezzine pour s’informer des besoins des d\u00e9plac\u00e9s dans le district et des conditions de ceux qui sont encore dans leurs villages du sud, afin de les assurer gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la campagne de dons lanc\u00e9e par l\u2019ULCM.<\/p>\n
