On Lebanese Emigrant Day: Loyalty to the homeland and global brilliance<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lebanese Emigrant Day comes to remind us again of the march of a people who have never stopped being ambitious and distinguished, wherever it is. Despite the challenges, the Lebanese expatriate carried his homeland in his heart and sought to build a future that honors its roots, so he created in various fields, from economics and politics to science and culture, until he became a decision maker in countries that relied on him in the highest positions.<\/p>\n

US President Donald Trump\u2019s choice of the Lebanese expatriate Michel Issa as the United States ambassador to Lebanon on the same day is only a reaffirmation that the Lebanese exile is not just a geographical extension, but an effective global force, full of competencies that have never hesitated to serve its motherland, wherever it is.<\/p>\n

On this anniversary, we renew our attachment to Lebanon and the homeland, our culture, our adherence to the roots and rights, our insistence on the state of reform and ending corruption, and our affirmation of our adherence to the need to return the funds of Lebanon and the looted Lebanese to restore the confidence of the expatriates to return their investments again.<\/p>\n
