WLCU Representatives attend the UN-DPINGO "Last Town Hall of the Season" meeting-26 June 2014

The WLCU Representative to the ECOSOC Mara Hanna and the Main representative to the DPI Sid Chidiac have attended the UN-DPINGO “Last Town Hall of the Season” meeting which took place at the UN Headquarters in New York on Thursday 26 June 2014.

At this briefing, they discussed the board elections, played jeopardy briefly and then announced that more than 120 NGOs had submitted Workshops for the 65th DPI/NGO Conference and that they are trying to accommodate as many as possible. The WLCU is anxiously awaiting the results that will be available soon.
