WCC: World Cultural Commission

The objectives and composition of the World Cultural Commission of the WLCU is:

1. Belief in building a new democratic citizenship in Lebanon and working on launching the common Eastern heritage that meets all the cultural diversity of the Lebanese people
2. Composed of members from all confessions
3. The most important one was with ReconstruireEnsemble,which is an association that has branches in France, Belgium, Switzerland and soon in Canada
4. Establish conventions and partnerships with cultural associations, bodies and some national councils working on this dimension of building values and bridges between Lebanon and the rest of the world

WCC Activities include:

• Creation of bridges, Lighting on the works of writers, poets of the Lebanese Expansion: Collection of poems, books, signatures …
• Days of Lebanon in Paris / Les Journées du Liban à Paris
• Partnership and collaboration with Reconstruire Ensemble
• Launching of the Oriental Common Heritage
• Conference and Circle Debates
