Delegation from WLCU France met with Patriarch Rahi during his visit to France

During his visit to France, the Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros El Rahi met with the President of the National Council in France Edmond Abdel Massih, Vice President Moussa Ghanem and the President of the Regional Council in Europe Roger Hani who conveyed to his beatitude the regards and love of the WP Michel Douehi.

The Delegation thanked the Cardinal El Rahi for his visit to the Lebanese community in France and his call for unity among all sects in Lebanon, the Message Country, Love and Peace.

The delegation briefed his beatitude on the activities undertaken by the WLCU in France in particular and Europe in general at all levels and especially the cultural meetings and seminars.

They also informed him about the visit of around 150 young men and women from Lebanese descent from all continents to Lebanon from 16 to 26 August 2013 organized by the WLCU, which will include a tour to the historical and tourism areas of Lebanon and a World Congress for 2 days with young men and women from different universities in Lebanon.

The delegation conveyed to the Cardinal the invitation of the President of the WLCU National Council in Caracas – Venezuela Michel Assaf, to visit during his tour in Latin America the cultural center and library of Gibran Khalil Gibran in the city of Caracas launched by the WLCU on February 2, 2013,

At the end of the meeting, the Patriarch invited the youth to visit him at his summer residence in Diman during their stay in Lebanon.
