JOMALI Construye 2022

México está lleno de retos, y uno de los más grandes es la pobreza. Así que por segundo año consecutivo la Unión Nacional de Jóvenes Mexicanos de Ascendencia Libanesa (JOMALI) y fundación Centro Libanés unieron fuerzas para recaudar fondos y donar cuatro viviendas para familias en situaciones de hacinamiento. JOMALI Construye se divide en dos partes fundamentales: la recaudación, y la construcción de las viviendas.

La recaudación de $324,000 pesos se llevó a cabo durante el año, en donde todas las personas de la comunidad unieron fuerzas para llegar a la meta. Es importante resaltar que por cada peso que JOMALI recaudó, la Fundación Centro Libanes donó uno más. JOMALI agradece a la fundación Centro Libanés y a las personas que apoyaron el proyecto por hacer esto posible.

La construcción se vuelve el momento donde todo se consolida. Este año la construcción se llevó a cabo en Jardines de San Juan en la delegación Tlalpan, Ciudad de México. JOMALI Construye tuvo la participación de 30 jóvenes, los cuales formaron parte del equipo de construcción, para lograr entregar a las familias las cuatro viviendas y poder mejorar su calidad de vida.

El ir a una construcción de TECHO va más allá que donar y construir una casa, es una manera de entender la realidad de un México que necesita mucho más. Fueron dos días intensos donde los voluntarios estuvieron construyendo bajo el sol y durmieron fuera de la comodidad de su casa, pero regresaron con una satisfacción enorme de poder aportar ese granito de arena a una familia. Las viviendas son una enorme motivación para las familias que inauguraron sus casas y JOMALI Construye fue parte de eso.

JOMALI Construye 2022

Mexico is full of challenges, and one of the biggest is poverty. So for the second year in a row, the National Union of Young Mexicans of Lebanese Descent (JOMALI) and the Centro Libanés Foundation joined forces to raise funds and donate four houses for families in overcrowded situations. JOMALI Construye is divided into two fundamental parts: the collection, and the construction of the houses.

The collection of $324,000 pesos was carried out during the year, where all the people of the community joined forces to reach the goal. It is important to highlight that for each peso that JOMALI collected, the Fundación Centro Libanes donated one more. JOMALI thanks the Centro Libanés foundation and the people who supported the project for making this possible.

Construction becomes the moment where everything is consolidated. This year the construction was carried out in Jardines de San Juan in the Tlalpan delegation, Mexico City. JOMALI Construye had the participation of 30 young people, who were part of the construction team, to deliver the four houses to the families and improve their quality of life.

Going to a TECHO construction goes beyond donating and building a house, it is a way of understanding the reality of a Mexico that needs much more. There were two intense days where the volunteers were building under the sun and slept away from the comfort of their home, but they returned with the enormous satisfaction of being able to contribute that grain of sand to a family. Homes are a huge motivation for families who inaugurated their homes and JOMALI Construye was part of that.
