La culture libanaise était à l’honneur à Vanves avec une journée à la fois festive et caritative
Organisée par Union Liban-Vanves, le Samedi 27 avril, à laquelle a participée un bon nombre des associations franco-libanaises.
L’ULCM était vivement présente à travers son stand dirigé par son président en France Younane Nassif et la présence du président mondial Roger Hani, le secrétaire Général Mondial Georges Abi Raad et nombreux membres du bureau en France et des associations affiliées.
Nous avons exposé aux visiteurs les activités et les projets que l’ULCM organise partout dans le monde y compris LEBolution et de la Carte d’adhésion et de fidélité et nous avons projeté sur le grand écran un clip vidéo sur la visite organisée par l’ULCM des 150 jeunes d’origine libanaise dans le cadre du programme LEBolution pour leur faire connaitre le pays de leurs ancêtres.
La journée a été marquée par une intervention de M. Bahjat Rizk l’attaché culturel de la délégation Du Liban auprès de l’UNESCO autour de l’histoire des Phéniciens et leur alphabet, suivie par un défilé des costumes représentatifs de toutes les époques, allant de l’aire des phéniciens jusqu’à la période de l’Emirat du Mont Liban, organisé par Elie Aouad (association Leba).
La soirée s’est terminée en beauté par une fête libanaise animée par le chanteur Adham Chalhoub et d’une de « Dabké à Paris ».

Lebanon in the heart of Vanves (France)
The Lebanese culture was in the spotlight in Vanves with a day, that was both festive and charitable,
organized by “Union Liban-Vanves”, on Saturday April 27, in which a good number of Franco-Lebanese associations participated.
The WLCU was strongly present through its stand led by its president in France Younane Nassif and the presence of the world president Roger Hani, the world secretary general Georges Abi Raad and numerous members of the office in France and the affiliated associations.
We exposed to visitors the activities and projects that the WLCU organizes around the world including LEBolution and Membership Card, and we projected on the big screen a video clip on the visit organized by the WLCU of 150 young people of Lebanese origin as part of the LEBolution program to make them know the country of their ancestors.
The day was marked by a speech by Mr. Bahjat Rizk, the cultural attaché of the Lebanese delegation to UNESCO, on the history of the Phoenicians and their alphabet, followed by a parade of costumes representative of all eras, ranging from the Phoenicians’ one until the period of the Emirate of Mount Lebanon, organized by Elie Aouad (Leba association).
The evening ended with a Lebanese party hosted by singer Adham Chalhoub and “Dabké à Paris” band.
