World Lebanese Cultural Union
As part of its humanitarian and social mission, a delegation from the World Lebanese Cultural Union visited the Maronite Care Home in Furn El Chebbak, Beirut, where it presented a modern sterilization machine essential for maintaining safety and prevention standards in caring for the elderly and patients residing at the home.
The delegation was composed of:

• Georges Abi Raad, World Secretary-General
• Christian Nasr, Deputy Secretary-General
• Dr. Elie Al-Akouri, Advisor to the WLCU President
• Manal Zebian, Head of the Social and Humanitarian Affairs Program in Lebanon
• Mayssa Sleit, team member
The delegation toured the facility and reviewed the conditions of the residents, reaffirming the WLCU’s ongoing commitment to supporting social and health institutions in Lebanon during these times, especially those dedicated to elderly care.
At the conclusion of the visit, the administrators of the home expressed their gratitude for this initiative, which embodies the values of solidarity and mutual support. They emphasized the importance of cooperation between the World Lebanese Cultural Union and local institutions in serving humanity and preserving human dignity.

La Unión Libanesa Cultural Mundial dona una máquina de esterilización al Hogar Maronita de Cuidado
Como parte de su misión humanitaria y social, una delegación de la Unión Libanesa Cultural Mundial visitó el Hogar Maronita de Cuidado en Furn El Chebbak, Beirut, donde fue entregada una moderna máquina de esterilización esencial para mantener los estándares de seguridad y prevención en la atención de adultos mayores y pacientes residentes del hogar.
La delegación estuvo compuestapor:

La delegación recorrió las instalaciones y evaluó las condiciones de los residentes, reafirmando el compromiso constante de la Unión Libanesa Cultural Mundial de apoyar a las instituciones sociales y de salud en el Líbano en estas circunstancias, especialmente a aquellas dedicadas al cuidado de los adultos mayores.
Al concluir la visita, los responsables del hogar expresaron su gratitud por esta iniciativa, que encarna los valores de solidaridad y apoyo mutuo, subrayando la importancia de la cooperación entre la Unión Libanesa Cultural Mundial y las instituciones locales para servir a la humanidad y preservar la dignidad humana.

الجامعة اللبنانية الثقافية في العالم تقدم آلة تعقيم لدار الرعاية الماروني
في إطار رسالتها الإنسانية والاجتماعية، قام وفد من الجامعة اللبنانية الثقافية في العالم بزيارة إلى دار الرعاية الماروني في منطقة فرن الشباك في بيروت، حيث قدّمت آلة تعقيم حديثة ضرورية للحفاظ على معايير السلامة والوقاية في معالجة العجزة والمرضى المقيمين في الدار.
تألّف الوفد من روجيه هاني رئيس الجامعة، جورج أبي رعد الأمين العام، كرستيان نصر نائب الأمين العام، د. إيلي العاقوري مستشار رئيس الجامعة، منال ذبيان مسؤولة تنفيذ برنامج الشؤون الاجتماعية والإنسانية في لبنان، وميسا سليط من فريق العمل.
وقد جال الوفد في أرجاء الدار واطلع على أوضاع المقيمين فيه، مؤكدا على التزام الجامعة المستمر بدعم المؤسسات الاجتماعية والصحية في لبنان في هذه الظروف، لا سيما تلك التي تعنى برعاية كبار السن.
وفي ختام الزيارة، أعرب القيمون على الدار عن امتنانهم لهذه المبادرة التي تجسد معاني التضامن والتكافل، مشددين على أهمية التعاون بين الجامعة اللبنانية الثقافية في العالم والمؤسسات المحلية من أجل خدمة الإنسان وصون كرامته.
