Your Excellency,
On the occasion of United Nations Day, celebrated on 24 October, I have
the honor to convey, on behalf of the World Lebanese Cultural Union
(WLCU) and on my own behalf, our heartfelt congratulations to Your
Excellency and to all the dedicated members of the United Nations family.
This day stands as a reminder of the Organization’s indispensable role in
upholding the principles of peace, justice, human rights, and multilateral
cooperation — values that continue to guide humanity toward a more
equitable and sustainable world.
As a proud member of the Department of Global Communications (DGC)
and a non-governmental organization in consultative status with the
Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the WLCU reiterates its
unwavering commitment to advancing the mission and ideals of the
United Nations. We remain steadfast in promoting sustainable
development, empowering youth, and fostering intercultural dialogue
between peoples and nations.
