Las recientes actividades de JOL Chile se vieron bastantes determinadas por la asistencia que tuvimos al Congreso del Consejo Latino de la ULCM realizado en Bogotá en mayo de este año.

شهد اليوم الأول من المعرض العربي والدولي للكتاب الـ٥٧، سلسلة من الأنشطة، منها ندوة بعنوان “الهجرة في مئة عام”، نظمتها دار “سائر المشرق”، شارك فيها: رئيس المؤسسة المارونية للإنتشار الوزير السابق ميشال اده، رئيس شؤون الإغتراب في المجلس المذهبي الدرزي كميل سري الدين، والأمين العام العالمي للجامعة اللبنانية الثقافية في العالم طوني قديسي، وأدارها المحامي لوران عون.

Miss Lebanese Emigrants 2013 Rita Houkayem represented Lebanon in the election ceremony of Miss Earth which took place in Philippines on 7 Saturday 2013. Miss Rita won a Gold Medal for being elected as Miss Friendship/Miss Congeniality. Congratulations for Miss Rita and we wish her the best of luck in her future plans.

The WLCU California Ladies Organization held its 2013 Humanitarian Award Gala Dinner, honoring Mr. Talal S. Beydoun on Friday December 6h, 2013 in Hollywood in the presence of 250 persons including many dignitaries and Government officials.  

Mrs. Mara Hanna and Mr. Sid Chidiac attended the second Communications Workshop on 5 December 2013 at the UN Headquarters in New York, entitled: “Civil Society – Putting a Human Face on the Work of the United Nations”. Click here to read the report prepared by Mrs. Mara Hanna
