Hoy es un día de fiesta para la comunidad libanesa de Toluca, del Estado de México y de toda la República Mexicana. Hoy el Gobernador del Estado, Eruviel Avila, inauguró, junto con Juan José Guerra Abud, secretario de medio ambiente y en representación del presidente de la República, la Plaza Estado de México dedicada a la comunidad libanesa de Toluca.

With packed theater friends, the Lebanese Collectivity of Argentina started to celebrate for the tenth first Lebanese Immigrant Day. No efforts to honor these Lebanese men and women were spared. The exhibition “Lebanese Men … deep mark in our history” of the Research Argentinean Center on Lebanese Immigration (CAIIL) coordinated by its Director Professor Walter Muller Moujir, thrilled the audience.

This past Sunday, march 8, 2015, the Mexican Lebanese community celebrated the international Day of the Lebanese Emigrant with an emotive event in which every member remembered with love and respect their parents, grandparents and great grandparents who arrived to this blessed land giving them a new safe and prosperous place to stay and enlarging the Lebanese territory around the world.
